The international cooperation
The main goal of developing international cooperation is to attract foreign investment to the institute and improve the quality of education at the institute by studying the rich experience of universities in the field of architecture and construction in developed countries.
Currently, the institute has established scientific cooperation with 78 prestigious foreign universities, including Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Austria, the People's Republic of China, Indonesia, Latvia, the Russian Federation, Ukraine, Belarus, Japan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan, as well a number of prestigious educational institutions of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan.
To date, 20 undergraduates, 2 doctoral students, 30 students have been trained and trained in partner universities abroad.
Over the past three years, the institute has signed agreements on the implementation of joint programs, training bachelors and masters with several universities. Within the framework of these agreements, there are joint programs in 6 areas of study. In cooperation with the National Technical University of Belarus ("2 + 2"), in 1 direction with the Moscow Architectural Institute, the master's program "Preservation and repair of historical monuments". Together with the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences Germany, the Polish Technical University of Bialystok, joint educational programs are being implemented in 2 master's specialties (1 + 1). Currently, 170 students are studying at the institute on these educational programs.
During 2017-2020, the institute organized 8 international conferences, 1 international festival, 1 international symposium and 4 seminars in cooperation with various international universities and organizations.
Three representatives of the institute are studying for doctoral studies at prestigious educational institutions of the People's Republic of China and Turkey.
Over the past three years, the Institute has implemented 6 international scientific and educational projects.
The project "Topography of Historical Monuments of Tashkent", funded by the German Volkswagen Foundation, was implemented in cooperation with the Weimar Bauhaus University of Germany and the Technical University of Dresden. The total cost of the project is 192,600 euros. The project implementation period is 2017-2020.
The project of the International Mobile Conference "Sustainable Urban Development - Prospects for Urban Development in Uzbekistan", funded by the German Volkswagen Foundation. The total cost of the project is 5818 euros. The project completed in 2019 (at a time).
Currently, the institute has 3 projects under the European Union Erasmus + program. In particular, the DSingGIS project "Doctorate in Geoinformatics", "Interdepartmental Agreement 2020-2023 between institutions from the program countries and partner countries" in cooperation with the Weimar-Bauhaus Institute in Germany, UNIWA projects in cooperation with the University of Western Attica in Greece. Within the framework of the DSingGIS project "Doctorate in Geoinformatics", a total of 7 representatives of the institute improved their qualifications and took part in training seminars. The Institute also received modern laboratory equipment for GIS technologies for a total of 31,000 euros.
Since 2021, in cooperation with the Potsdam University of Applied Sciences (Germany), the project "Cooperation with the East" is being implemented, funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The project will be completed in three years.
Every year more than 25 students of the institute study at partner universities under the Student Exchange program. Currently, the institute has 10 foreign professors for students, masters and doctoral students.
In addition, 30 professors and lecturers of the institute have lectured at educational institutions that are among the top 1000 in the world.
Today, 24 foreign students study at the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering.
