Information about the department
The department was established in 1968, when the Department of " Urban Planning and Landscape Architecture "was separated from the Department of” Urban Planning and Project Architecture" in September 2009.2005), as well as the Department of " Urban Planning and Restoration of Populated areas” of the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction. In different years, the department was headed by the following associate professors: V. E. Arkhangelsky, R. O. Salimov, K. Mukhamedzhanov, S. T. Tursunov, R. M. Saliev, K. M. Kholmirzaev. Among the Professors D. V. Latypov, H. M. Ubaydullaev, and H. K. Tursunov were the heads of the department. 2009 arch.doc. , Prof. M. K. Akhmedov was elected head of the department. Currently, the department conducts training in two areas: bachelor's degree and master's degree in the specialty. The department has a postgraduate program. Students of the department have produced about 10 textbooks and textbooks based on existing curricula. Innovative research activities are carried out on the basis of the state budget, cooperation with organizations and individual plans. Cooperation agreements have been concluded with the following research and design organizations: Uzliti for Urban Planning, Tashkent City Council, GUP Kishlokkurilishloiha, SPC IISM "Botany".

Main research area: problems of urban planning and landscape architecture development.
Cooperation of the department: a close relationship has been established with the main design research institutes and leading organizations of the Republic.
Every year, students and specialists from around the world visit the department, which serves as the basis for cooperation between the department and the leading schools of urban planning, landscape design and architecture in this field.
The faculty and students of the department actively participate in new project proposals in the architectural, urban planning and landscape areas of the republic, such as creation, landscaping and landscaping.
