Information on the results of the scientific activity of the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction (2018-2020):
Postgraduate education in Tashkent Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 16, 2017, No PF-4958 "On further improving the system of postgraduate education" and the Cabinet of Ministers of May 22, 2017 "On measures to further improve the system of postgraduate education" By Resolution No. 304 of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, to obtain the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy and Doctor of Science in coordination with the relevant ministry (agency) through the basic doctoral, doctoral and independent research in the following specialties Teachers are trained:

According to the decision of the Presidium of the HAC of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 30, 2019, No 273/2 under the Tashkent Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute:
Doctor of Science in Architecture (18.00.01 - "Architectural Theory and History. Repair and Restoration of Architectural Monuments"; 18.00.02 - "Zoning. Urban Planning. Rural Housing Planning. Landscape Architecture. Architecture of Buildings and Structures") and DSc) The Scientific Council No. DSC.03 / 30.12.2019.A.11.02, which confers the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), was reorganized, based on which a degree in the specialty 13.00.02 - "Theory and Methods of Education and Training" (architecture) allowed the establishment of a one-time scientific council.

Tashkent Architecture and Civil Engineering Institute, Tashkent Institute of Railway Engineers, Samarkand State Institute of Architecture and Construction, and Namangan Institute of Engineering and Construction (05.09.01 - "Building structures, buildings, and structures", 05.09.05 - "Building materials and products" The Scientific Council No. DSC.26 / 30.12.2019.T.11.01, which confers the degrees of Doctor of Science (DSc) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) on specialties) was reorganized, based on which 05.09.03 - “Heat supply. Ventilation, air conditioning. Gas supply and lighting”(on technical sciences), 05.09.04 -“ Water supply. Sewage. It was allowed to establish a one-time scientific council for the degree of "Building systems for the protection of water bodies" (on technical sciences) and 13.00.02 - "Theory and methods of education and training" (on technical sciences).
For the last 3 years the institute has opened a basic doctoral program in new specialties - 05.09.08 "Construction technology and organization of construction processes", 08.00.03 - "Industrial Economics", 08.00.13 - "Management" and 11.00.07 - "Geoinformatics".
As of January 1, 2021, 59 basic doctoral students (Ph.D.) and 4 doctoral students (DSc) in 10 specialties, as well as 22 independent doctoral students (Ph.D.) and 2 independent researchers in doctoral (DSc) research on doctoral dissertations are doing their research. In preparation for the Institute of Postgraduate Education in 2021 - 4 young scientists were admitted to the internship research institute.
As of January 1, 2021, 59 basic doctoral students (Ph.D.) and 4 doctoral students (DSc) in 10 specialties, as well as 22 independent doctoral students (Ph.D.) and 2 independent researchers in doctoral (DSc) research on doctoral dissertations are doing their research. In preparation for the Institute of Postgraduate Education in 2021 - 4 young scientists were admitted to the internship research institute.
Professors, researchers, young scientists, and talented students of the Institute carry out research work in the following priority areas that serve the scientific and technological development of the republic:
- urban planning, architectural design, repair of architectural monuments, design of residential and public buildings in the national spirit, taking into account the natural conditions;
- creation of new construction materials based on local raw materials and industrial wastes;- urban planning, architectural design, repair of architectural monuments, design of residential and public buildings in the national spirit, taking into account the natural conditions;
- ensuring earthquake resistance of buildings and structures;
- ensuring the strength and reliability of building structures;
- Effective use of utilities in buildings and structures;
- Improving the organization and management of construction products in a market economy.
There are more than 650 citations to the works published by professors and teachers of the institute in the Web of Science, Scopus, Google Scholar systems. The number of professors and researchers with the H-index increased from 3 in 2019 to 16 in 2020.
The institute took 42nd place in the National Ranking of Higher Education Institutions in 2017, 20th place in 2018, and 15th place in 2019. In 2020, the Institute took 13th place among university professors in publishing articles in scientific journals on the Web of Science and Scopus.
